DAB Launch Date Announced

PBHR will be launching on DAB+ across Darlington and Bishop Auckland on Friday 4th August at 9am.

The new service will be officially launched by the Chairman of CDDFT NHS Trust, Richard Scothon and Chair of the CDDFT Charity, Kathryn Featherstone.

You will be able to find us on your DAB radio under the name of ‘PBHR’. We’re on the ‘South Durham’ multiplex (Channel 9b 204.640 Mhz) which covers Darlington, Bishop Auckland and Newton Aycliffe.

Station Manager, Dennis Duncan, who will be presenting the breakfast show said ‘We’re delighted to be expanding our service beyond the wards and departments of the hospital. One of the most common questions we get on the wards is, ‘can we listen at home?’ Patients and staff can now continue to enjoy our programmes after they leave the hospital’
