International Thalassaemia Day 2025 Dennis Duncan
Babies on the maternity unit at Darlington Memorial Hospital are going to be a little quieter from now on, thanks to the ‘Baby Shusher‘.
Curtesy of the team at Independent Media News, Dennis Duncan had one of the sought after units to give away. An on air competition was held and listeners were asked to call in as soon as a certain track of music was played.

Midwife Emma Hodgson (pictured) was quick off the mark to call up when she heard Dennis play ‘Baby Baby, by Amy Grant’ and he was delighted to hand over the shusher this afternoon. Babies in Darlington Memorial Hospital will be able to benefit from it.
