Collection at Shildon AFC

Boxing day saw a local derby match between Shildon AFC and Bishop Auckland FC. Bishop Auckland took the victory with 5 goals to 1.

Volunteers from Prince Bishops Hospital Radio were at the event with collecting buckets raising vital funds for PBHR. Thank you to all those who donated. All money raised will be used towards keeping us on air in the future.

Dennis Duncan, station manager said ‘I’m particularly grateful to Shildon AFC for allowing us collect at the match and to local people who donated, especially during the current economic climate’.
