Prince Bishops Hospital Radio Quiz nights have been running for over a decade, raising vital funds for Hospital Radio and other worthwhile charities and community organisations.<\/p>

The events take place at the popular Spice Lounge Indian Restaurant<\/a>\u00a0in Bishop Auckland.<\/p>

PBHR hosts 3 quizzes per year raising funds for itself, and runs similar quiz nights for other local charities and groups throughout the year.<\/p>

These FAQs relate to quiz nights hosted and organised by PBHR<\/span>.<\/strong> Please refer to other charity organisers for specifc terms and conditions for their events.<\/p>

Where is the Spice Lounge?\u00a0<\/strong>The Spice Lounge is at 11 Fore Bondgate, Bishop Auckland, DL14 7PF. What 3 Words : filed.rise.brick<\/a><\/p>

When are the Quiz Nights ?<\/strong> Quiz nights are usually on Mondays, when the restaurant is normally closed. PBHR hosts 3 quizzes per year raising funds for itself. Other organisations run similar events throughout the year with PBHR providing the quiz materials and quiz host. Where PBHR recieve a donation for providing a quiz this will be shown on the events calendar<\/a>.<\/p>

What food is served?\u00a0<\/strong>Poppadoms and pickle tray, mixed starter and a selection of curries with rice and naan bread.<\/p>

Can I request an alternative meal? <\/strong>The regular menu isn’t available on quiz nights, however, please let us know if you have any specific allergies or special dietary requirements before booking.<\/p>

Do you cater for Vegetarians? <\/strong>Yes, please let us know at time of booking.<\/p>

Is there an English Meal option? <\/strong>Yes, there is an alternative English meal, but please contact us prior to booking to ensure we can cater for you.<\/p>

How much are the tickets?<\/strong> PBHR events are charged at \u00a320 per head, which includes a delicious meal and entry to the quiz. Other charities may charge differently.<\/p>

Where can I buy tickets?\u00a0<\/strong>Tickets for our quiz nights can only be purchased directly at the Spice Lounge or via our website. Please do not<\/span> purchase tickets from any other source as we have seen cases of scammers claiming to have tickets for sale.<\/p>

What format is the quiz?\u00a0<\/strong>The quiz consists of a picture round on the table. Throughout the evening there are a series of other rounds. There is always a general knowledge and music round and a two mystery rounds in between.<\/p>

Is there a prize?\u00a0<\/strong>Yes, the winning team will be given a voucher to return to the Spice Lounge for a meal at their leisure. The value of the voucher will depend on the size of the team.<\/p>

Do you run a raffle?\u00a0<\/strong>Most quiz nights have a raffle and a game of heads or tails. These are optional and not included in your ticket price.<\/p>

If we book separately can we sit together?\u00a0<\/strong>Of course, we’d be delighted to seat groups of friends together, please let us know at the time of booking who you’d like to sit with.<\/p>

I can’t make it, can I have a refund? <\/strong>Tickets are non refundable as we need to pay for all food booked, however, if you can’t make it, please contact us and we’ll transfer your ticket to a future event, free of charge.<\/p>

Can I win free tickets for the quiz?<\/b> Sometimes we run a competition to give away a pair of free tickets to the next quiz. Check our competitions page<\/a> for more details.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
